Prosper Golf Resort Celadna, located close to the picturesque village of Celadna in the north-east of the Czech Republic, in the heart of the tallest peaks of Beskydy mountains,  offers top class sport and leisure activities, and much more.

Both eighteen hole golf courses are ideally placed in the local landscape. The Resort is surrounded by beautiful mountains and forests.  The courses offer many water hazards, sand traps, Scottish bunkers and spacious, beautifully shaped greens. Miguel Angel Jiménez is the designer of the golf courses. In 2009, 2010 and 2011 the Resort hosted the PGA European Tour  events the Moravia Silesia Open 2009 and the Czech Open 2010 and 2011.

The Old Course

The golf course, which opened in 2004, became part of a Czech golf history in 2009, when the Resort hosted the PGA European Tour for the first time, is a challenge for golfers of all skills.

Thanks to the sensitive design of the golf course you get the feel that the course has always been there. Narrow fairways and well placed bunkers force the players towards a precise selection of golf clubs, and a clever negotiation of the Course.

The holes flow uphill and downhill and you can be sure that every hole has its own character so you will not get bored.  Multi level shaped greens, which are unique in the Czech Republic, gave hard time to many of the professionals during the PGA European Tour. Smartly placed water hazards range from little streams to a stunning island hole with a waterfall,  which forces the players to really focus and think about the game.

Each of the nine holes have a different character. Despite this fact the golf course gives a truly compact feel. It is no wonder that the Old Course hosted the PGA European Tour event also in 2010 and 2011.

The New Course

The New Course consists of two parts, each of a very different character.  The first nine holes are designed as classic Scottish links with narrow fairways surrounded by thick vegetation, many bunkers and spacious greens well protected by both sand and water hazards. The total length of the course is reminiscent of other prestigious golf courses, such as the British Open.  Inaccuracy is swiftly punished by  dangerously winding course borders and  many water hazards.  If you overcome these dangers, you will be rewarded by putting on greens which offer unlimited options of pin placement.

The second nine holes will bring you closer to the mountains where the course is more difficult, but you will be rewarded by the panoramic views of Beskydy and Lysa Hora. The 18th hole with Club House is beautifully placed in the countryside. The re-design of hole no. 15 and the brand new par 4 hole no. 16 nicknamed as U-Ramp will be a challenge for all.   The pond on the 18th hole is the last challenge of the day.

After that golfers can move directly into the stylish restaurant Golf to play the “19th” hole. Prosper Golf Resort Čeladná is an ideal place for those thinking about entering the World of Golf.
